hi,
my graduation is in English medium !!!
When applying for full time MBA,Do I still need to present my TOEFL scores to b-schools in US....?

My Profile in brief..
GMAT - 740(Q50,V39)
Graduation B.Tech in computer science
4+ yrs of exp in IT

Please let me know when do b-schools require TOEFL score ??
or Is it bschool specific ??

Hi Krishna,

For most schools you can avoid the TOEFL if your college instruction was primarily in English, or if you went to school in the US. If you went to school internationally, you may need a letter from your college explaining that most of your classes were in English. To be absolutely sure of specific school policies, you should definitely contact your target schools directly.

Good luck!

hi Amy,

Thank u very much for ur inputs.

Just another question...I just finished my gmat 2 days bak...with a 740...and as I hv said my profile reads B.Tech,4+ exp in IT ,India...

I am just confused abt how to start with the application process...I know a few things such as my career interests and college specialization are important to decide which schools should I go for...BUT TO START WITH ...

which colleges should I look first.... ?? To put my question in a different way which colleges should I aim for ...if I say chances of getting a admission is my main criteria and my interest is General Management and a full time course... ????

Please help me with ur two cents as I am completely lost .... :)

Thanks in Advance....

Hi Krishna,

I would recommend looking at the two sticky threads: GMAT and GPA, and school selection.

That should address how to start narrowing down your list of target schools.

Good luck!
