Thinking about rescheduling GMAT

So when do you know that it's time to give yourself some extra study time and move back your GMAT exam? I think I'm falling into this category.

I think the best for you would be to take GMAT Prep CAT1. Move back your GMAT exam if:

-You are not able to finish both the quantitative and the verbal sections
-Your score is too far from the one you want. You aim for 720, so I think you should reschedule if you do not get at least 680
-You realize you do not know the content cold

How long have you been practicing? The problem with postponing is you may lose the momentum.

If you are able to finish GMATPrep in the allotted time (with the essays) and are getting your target score, ONLY THEN you should take your appointment. Please, please, please, don't jump the gun and take a hasty last step.

You can take my word on this. I've had not so good experience with the actual appointment. You'll always regret after coming out of the test center, thinking that you "could" have done better.

The penalty for not completing the section is too heavy to be afforded after so much effort.

And if in order to complete the section you guess too many in the end, Murphy's law : "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong" always comes into picture. Equal probability of each option to be correct just becomes a theory.

So, again, IF ONLY you are able to complete each section with 2-3 minutes in hand and are getting your target score, you should take your appointment.

Thank you everyone... If i were to push it back I would only push it back by 2 weeks. I think I was just feeling the anxiety and pressure... i'm going to see how I do up until the last day that I can reschedule without forfeiting all of my sign up fee...and then make a decision.
