a is wrong because it is a comparison it should be lesser
b is wrong because of tense
c is wrong because which modifies the adjacent noun
d seems wordy buy can be correct

Thanks for the reply outreach, but the thread on MGMAT does not explain what is wrong with E, especially usage of ones.

E is wrong because we are comparing 7 people have been killed this century but in E it says fewer than the ones killed by bee sting.......now this creates a element of doubt whether we are comparing of this century or of the past century......therefore B option is correct because of the correct comparison of the time............
