What can I do?

by Jazmyn » Mon Apr 12, 2010 12:22 am
I just took the GMAT this weekend. I got a 550. I used Kaplan, Official Guide, and Manhattan Review books. I took some classes online but I really do better studying by myself. I plan on retaking it in about a month and want to get in the high 600 range. I am not working right now so I have all day to study. Is there any special study strategy, or new books that can be recommended for me to do better?

Thanks in advance.

If you only want to score over a 600, I would recommend getting the following books to supplement what you already have.

MGMAT Number Properties
MGMAT Equations Inequalities and VICs
MGMAT Sentence correction

Go through all of those and you will get the proper base to get over a 600 in my opinion. If you want a higher score (650 plus) you would need about 3 months and i would have a different course of action for you. Let me know if you have any other questions.
