The link posted above is good. You can fix the sentence by using a semicolon instead of a comma after "MBA".

I need to prove to a computer that I'm good enough to do an MBA; such is the world's dependence on the computer.

Such is a demonstrative pronoun ?
The replacement of the noun by such has to be understood in the context.
It is possible without the inital independent clause ?
