Unsure about possible resit

Basically its a weird story, My plan was to apply to London business school for a masters in management (as Im a fresh grad) and had heard about the elusive 700+ so that was my aim. However I didn't really prep for it due to numerous reasons and basically skimmed the Official orange Gmat book the night before (well i crammed as much as I could of it in the night before)

Was far more worried about verbal than quant

Chose not to send my score anywhere etc. as I was so underprepared

However my score somehow came out as 730 but I was 47 (78%ile) quant and 44 (97%ile) verbal with 96%ile overall

Now don't get me wrong, Im over the moon considering the prep time but it got me thinking as to whether it is wrth re-taking it as Im sure I could do far better in the quant or is it just not worth it?

First of all, congrats for the excellent score, you did great !! As far as your individual section scores are concerned, you are still close to the 80th% that some schools may ask. You may check the specific schools you want to apply to and see if they are asking for a specific percentile in each of the sections. If not, be happy and concentrate on your application.
