The word Being

by student22 » Tue Mar 30, 2010 3:51 pm
Since I am taking the GMAT very soon, I'm going over various esoteric rules and exceptions. One such exception is being. I read that on the more difficult SC questions, the GMAT heavily tests the correct use of the word being. Does anybody have a good reference (or could recommend a book that has a chapter/section on it) with clear rules and examples of when to use the word being.

Usually I find when it's used correctly by picking up on other more severe grammatical errors in the sentence - but I'd rather have something more concrete.

I found a post on another forum, but I'm looking for something a bit more in depth: https://www.urch.com/forums/gmat-verbal/ ... being.html
