If possible yes. If you can consistently receive a score that close to your target in your practice exams, then usually it's an indicator that you're sufficiently prepared to take the test.

However, sometimes we don't have the luxury of time to get into that comfort zone--a lot of us just decide to bite the bullet and go for it after a while.
