US-based versus Outside the US MBA programs

So what are the major differences?

Right now my first priority is applying to schools outside the USA only because I am under the impression that adding the global dialect to my portfolio will create a world class leader in me. My background - I am Indian born, lived in canada for 9 years, moved and did my high school in Singapore, did my bachelors in NY, moved to CA for work, and now I live in DC.

Given that I've travelled, I'd like to add the element of further global exposure; an opportunity I feel would help me by going to a foreign MBA program. Could this work? Is this the next 'strategic' position for me?

On a broader note, everyone talks about Chicago, Harvard, Yale, etc... but what about INSEAD? or SAID? or ESADE? or even LBS?

If we compare an INSEAD candidates profile from a Harvard candidates profile, who generally does 'better' in the real world? Who shines out a little more? Any light here would be appreciate.

I think you may be going to an outside MBA for the wrong reasons. Instead of just making you look better and "creating a world class leader in you" (ps: B-schools do value humility!) your primary reason for pursuing an MBA outside of the US is to also work there post-MBA. If you attend INSEAD or LBS, you will have excellent opportunities to work around the globe - just not in the US.
