first thing is to understand the context of s/c its meaning and structure
here the s/c is comparing the action or behaviour of current generation bees to their parents and adult counterparts
so bth the things has to be llel

I found C option more logical than D.

(only problem with C is that we cant say penchant is larger ... that that of......somebody else. although am not
100 % sure )

but in case od D , how u can use HAD for counterpart.... That means they no longer have penchant ....

I would go for D....larger is incorrect to modify the term "penchant"....
It should have been greater....

Hence option D is ok...AlSO had there been "greater" instead of "larger" in CASE A then it would have been correct....

i knw there is an issue with C

but my point is how u can use HAD for counterpart as in option D....
