i don't think there's a direct translation... CPA is calculated by the # of A's,B's,C's,D's you get relative to one another. each is weighed differently... so an A might be worth 4.0 and a B 3.0, C - 2.0 and so on and so forth.

Hi Kishor,

For calculting the GPA it is depended upon how many A's you have and B's you have in each subjects.

A interms fo percentage for Indian universities interms of first class (most of the times more than 60% is A) and so on.

not basically based on total aggregate but on indivdual courses ..

I know it does not tell what is your GPA but you will have an idea how they caculate GPA

Thanks
Amit

one thing to note is that B-schools are good at translating and comparing grades from all over the world... so you needn't worry about it too much

WES is pretty good,I had mine done thorugh them some 5 years back. But only problem i had was they sent my offical transcripts to the university for verification (sounded really stupid to me) and I did not know that I have pay some fees to the university for the verification .. and I took almost one year for me to get the my evaluation report. offcourse it was due to delay by indian university to process the verification request.
