Moving to a part time MBA program

This might be a stupid question, however I was wondering if people can apply to part-time MBA programs and then find a job once you get there. The reason I am asking is because I need income and a 650 GMAT score is actually quite good for many programs across the country.

Sorry I don't think I was clear. Ill pose a hypothetical situation to illustrate.

The mean GMAT score for Carnegie Mellon's Part Time program is 639, and the acceptance rate is 83%. Obviously, this is a high quality degree. Could someone from across the country apply to that program with plans to obtain employment once they get to Pittsburgh and be taken seriously as a candidate? Or are part time programs only for people who live in the area?

Oh I think you'll be fine in that case. PT Programs aren't just for people who live in those areas. I live in NYC and I see many people beginning a PT program @ NYU and then finding a job. Nothing wrong with that!
