Slope problem

The y intercept of a line l is 4.If the slope of l is negative,which of the following could be the x intercept of l??

(I) -1
(II) 0
(III) 6

slope will be -ve only if x intercept is 6

to find the slope u need two pts on the line

at y intercept x=0 so pt is (0,4)

at x intercept y=0 so pt would be (-1,0), (0,0) {not possible} or (6,0)

now slope = diff of y /diff of x

will be -ve only if pts are (0,4), (6,0)
