I guess B.

I would say B

is |a| * b > 0?

|a| is always positive but b could be -ve or +ve.

A. |a^b| > 0

b could be -ve or +ve. Insufficient.

B. |a|^b is a non-zero integer

If b is -ve, |a| ^ b will not be an integer. Statement II says that it is a non-zero integer. So, b cannot be -ve.

Then |a|*b > 0. Sufficient.

a) is def insuff
but in
B) if b=-1 (a -ve int)and a=1
then it satisfy the condition that a#b
and lal^b is a non zero int=1^-1=1

and if b=1 (a +ve int)and a#b and a=-1
then lal^b=1 a non zero int
hence even b is insuff

and hence it sud be E

1.) insufficient it only tells that a is not zero
2) insufficient it only tells that a is not zero
