8 is the answer. The different subsets are

10,
14,
17,
24,
10, 14, 17

14 17 24

17 24 10

24 10 14

subsets with one element - 4
subsets with 3 elements - {10,14,17}, {10, 17,24}, {10,14,24}, {14,17,24} = 4. Total = 8
