640 - Q49 and V29 Kindly suggest if i have a chance

Hi,

I am an indian male with a GMAT score of 640. Quant is 49 and verbal is 29. Do i stand a chance for good MBA programs in US? If yes then let me know what can i aim for.

I have a total experience of 31 month till date. Good acads, ok ok extra curricular activities.

I guess it would depend on how you define "good" for me to answer your question. Good is a relative term as there is good by the various rankings, and then there are programs that are good for you as an individual based on your rationale for going to business school. Based on the limited information you provided, you would be most competitive for schools where the GMAT average is below 640. There are certainly plenty of options in the US, so it is a matter of identifying which programs are the best match for your career goals and what you seek in terms of culture and other resources. Then you can determine how competitive you are by evaluating your profile against the school's class profile.
