Hi,

please post one question per thread, otherwise it's very difficult to follow the replies.

When possible, also quote the source of the question and put the official answer in spoiler text underneath.

Thanks!

4)If (a+3)/(2) +a+3=3 then a=?.
a)-3
b)-1
c)0
d)1
IMO B
{(a+3)/2}+a+3=3---->[(a+3)/2]+a=0---->a+3+2a=0----->3a=-3---->a=-1

yeah, i got E as well. since 12r < 96, r <=7. 12 doesn't satisfy this equation, hence it's out.

i got B. after simplifying the equation, we get 3a = -3, hence a = -1.

what's the source of these problems?
