490 to 660

by pathaniaus » Fri Jan 08, 2010 11:07 am
hey guys,

i took the gmat today and got a 660. q45, v37... i was hoping for a 700 since that was the score most consistent amongst my practice tests.

i came a long way, from my diagnostic test, in may, i scored a 490. i prepared all summer from mid may to the end of august, my first official test, i was so nervous, i went to the test center twice before exam day just to make sure. on the day of my exam, i while driving, i got in an accident. it completely ruined my day and my summer. i had worked so hard. and then the busiest semester of my college career began. im a double major, i had two senior capstones to write, so in total i was taking 22 credit hours. but i was determined to do well, i woke up everyday at 5,30 and everyday for about 1hr, id work on one topic. in october, a week before my midterms, i took the GMAT. that really wasnt a good idea, i was so stressed out with school that i had scored a 550. i was so pissed off, and saddened. so i decided to take it again in at the end of my winter break... so here it is... i crammed... 12 hours a day for 2 weeks, went through the OG 11 and 12 twice, made flash cards, and of course, used this site. everyday. ill take the gmat again this coming summer, but my scores should be good enough for me to get into the masters in accounting programs i want to get into.

so with that, thank you everyone. for now its time for a lil vacation.

cheers.
