Hey guys:
I'm currently a law student and recently applied to my school's JD/MBA program. The two schools are pretty comparable in selectivity and rankings (think UVa, Michigan, Duke or NYU).
I've been told that the MBA program's admissions standards are lower for JDs than other applicants. Is this generally accurate? I'm slightly below the average GMAT score and am wondering if that's an application killer.
Thanks!

You are correct, in that there is typically a different route within the committee for JD/MBA applicants and the b-schools rely heavily on the Law School's decision. If you are going to focus on anything, focus on making a good impression with the law school and it should help. Good luck!
