Scoretop 22 - Question 5

by akay » Tue Sep 18, 2007 8:00 pm
A certain club has 20 members. What is the ratio of the member of 5-member committees that can be formed from the members of the club to the number of 4-member committees that can be formed from the members of the club?

A. 16 to 1
B. 15 to 1
C. 16 to 5
D. 15 to 6
E. 5 to 4

I am quite close I think by using 20 C 5 / 20 C 4. Is this right?

Akay, I am agree with u! It should be 20C5/20C4. So the answer should be C. I think this the only way to solve the prob! But Akay, it does not include any calculation as almost all the digits are getting cancelled by one another.
Correct me If I am wrong
