I read somewhere that like should be used to compare two nouns and as should be used for more than two.
In this below example, what is the problem in the sentence?
Margaret, the best known anthropologist of the twentieth century, helped shape public opinion on fundamentally important issues like attitudes toward children and families, along with the relative merits of competition and cooperation.
