Hello

I did diploma in electronics & comm. engg. And now persuing btech in same stream. Alongside, i am working in a renowned VLSI firm since 3.5 yrs.

My Btech will be completed next year in June. By then, will my 4 yr experience help fetching me a good b-school or do they consider experience only after btech completion?

Please help me know.

Thanks nd Regards

Dear Jaspreet,

Your work experience prior to completing your BTech is important and considered in your evaluation. However, the reporting standards for number of years work experience defines work experience as being full-time, professional experience after completing a bachelor's degree. So, it is possible you might not count the number of years experience, but that does not diminish that you have experience, what you did in your tenure, and the contributions/accomplishments you can note on your resume from the VLSI firm.

Good luck,
Lisa
