Section : 6 - Problem - 6

by camitava » Sat Sep 15, 2007 5:00 am
Guys help me out of this problem -

Code: Select all

In the figure above, two rectangles with the same dimensions overlap to form the shaded region. If each rectangle has perimeter 12 and the shaded region has perimeter 3, what is the total length of the heavy line segments?
(A) 15 (B) 18 (C) 21
(D) 22 (E) 23
Correct me If I am wrong

Amitava

what is the total length of the heavy line segments?

If heavy line segments means the perimeter of the combined figure u posted, then my answer is C 21

i.e 12+12 =3 =21
