New aspirants need help...

Hello champs,
This is my first post on this awsome and educative forum. I am a softaware engineer and having 4 yrs of exp in software industry. I am planning to prepare for GMAT. Iam completely novice and I want to know what materials will be good for starting the prep. I have heard of Kaplans,princeton and all but dont know which one is good enough. As iam working, so I will be able to give only 2 hours on GMAT prep. I want to reach at compettitive level till march(4 months). I request you all to kindly suggest ....

Hello , welcome to this forum.

The best idea for the beginning will be to download free practice test from www.mba.com ( that's GMAT's official site) and to give one of the two tests, and only after that you can build your strategy for your preparation.

I will go thru that but what are the good books avaialble in the market. i don like hopping from one publication to another .Please let me know the good official book.
