Hi,

Kindly evaluate my profile and tell me is there any chances of getting admits with this score in any decent MBA program in US or Canada.

- Work Experiance -> 3.5Yrs(With Telecom MNC)
- GPA -> 3.0 (Actually it is 74% in Engineering major)
- GMAT Score ->510
- Extra Curricular activities -> Working for NGO's and assosiated with Teach India Program(A govt of India Initiative)

Can you please tell me is it worth trying with low GMAT score to a decent Program in US or Canada or even in Asia or Shall i try with a better score.

Any feedback is helpful.

Retake the GMAT. No offense, but there are many Indian applicants from Engineering background with strong academics and GMAT. Look at the profiles and stats of schools you are targeting and make the decision.

Best of luck to you!

Dear samsachd,

As an international applicant, I think it will be tough for you to gain admission to business school in the US or Canada with your current profile. Your education and experience are over-represented in the global MBA applicant pool, and as such, it is tough to stand out. Your current GMAT score puts you at a disadvantage in this regard as it is quite low relative to the other engineers from India. I think you should retake the test and try to get your score up.

Good luck,
Lisa
