Fellas!
Took GMAT today and scored a 690. Not sure if i should be happy as i was aiming for a score above 700.Breakup of the score is -
Quant-48
verbal-37(disappointing)

It took me 2 and a half months of regular studies to get this score.I referred to
OG 12
manhattan Geometry, number properties, equations inequalities and vics
GMAT verbal review
primarily for Quant and verbal.

lots of mock tests, which include
1.MGMAT
670,
680,
710(after rsetting)

2.GMAT prep
670
680
700(reset)
710(reset)
760(reset)

One thing which i would like to share with all is Quant is NOT tougher than before! It is exactly of the same standard as GMAT prep tests.I found verbal quite tough though, with very lenghty passages in RC and difficult SC. However, verbal has never been my stong section, hence i wouldn't comment on its difficulty level. I would suggest people to focus on your weak areas. You will get to know it after you have written a few mocks.

I am a male candidate with 5 years of experience with an investemnt bank.I was working in london previously and now out of Singapore(good international exposure).
Is it advisable to apply in 2nd rounds of schools such as
ISB india
Insead Singapore
GSB singapore
Oxford UK
Cambridge UK

As of now, i am not really thinking of retaking the test..Is that something i should consider?

Hey Saurabh

May b d score u achieved is slightly less as compared to ur expected score but it doesnt make mch difference considering your nice international workex....
One Question :
I have heard frm many recent test takers that the level of maths question is realy tough as compared to GMAT prep.... but as per ur experience its almost similar to GMAT prep...
I m in a dilemma whether 2 go for realy tough questions for my practice prep or focus on English whch s my weakness as i can do Maths question of GMAT prep level easily...
Kindly guide all d senior members alongwith Mr Saurabh....
Thanks in advance

Yesterday I took test and scored 51 in Quant. Quant is 99% similar to Quant of GMAT Prep but it is always to focus on tough problems[strictly in GMAT context] as you will feel comfortable solving an easier problem.
