Hi,
is it normal to start a sentence with (his) and (he), then the name precedes? does not the subject need to come first so when I'm reading, I know what he and his refer to?
thanks,

A) wrong idiom attempt at ; after omitting the pharses and clauses in commas the sentence has to be logical with no grramatical error and contains the reqd meaning ; however in this case the sentence Charles,he therefore is awkard.s wrong
B) when......being is wrng
C) since......so is wrong
D) it seem to have many error, i am able to figure out being......was the reason is awkard
E) luks fine.
there is no problem in using sub later as long as there is no ambiguity...

Being in the beginning of a sentence is the usually the wrong modifier for more than 90% of the time. The GMAT has a unique writing style that they like to maintain.Montreal_Lady wrote:[email protected]
what is wrong with being?
Only accept being in the beginning of a sentence if all other sentences have grammatical error or lenghty and awkward. You will know which sentence is lengthy and awkward by practice only. However, also by practice, you will find that some very length and awkward sentences are correct; these are the very tricky ones.
Good Luck
