U of H - College of Business

by ek9b16a » Fri Oct 16, 2009 5:53 am
I am graduated from the University of Houston Downtown with a dual major, Supply Chain Managagement and General Business. I have undergrad GPA of 2.85 and last 60 hours of 3.1. I have taken GMAT yet. I plan on taking it in a few months. I have 7 years of working experience. I currently work for a fortune 500 oil and gas company as a financial analyst. I am 28 years old.
Do you know what GMAT scores this school is looking for?
Range/median/average

Do I fit the profile for this university?

Dear ek9b16a,

Are you referring to the MBA program at UH main campus? You should be able to find a class profile on their website with the GMAT average and/or the mid-50% range of GMAT scores. You want to be at or above the average to be most competitive. Be sure to look at the program you are targeting--full-time v. part-time--when you are looking at the statistics. As for your work experience and GPA, your work experience is competitive and your GPA is probably below average, but not out of range.

Good luck,
Lisa
