800 Score Test1: 630
800 Score Test2: 650
800 Score Test3: 640
Kaplan Test1: 620

not sure about the other vendors, but I do know Kaplan exams tend to scale your score lower to encourage you to take their course.

Based on those 2 Kaplan scores, I'd say your real scaled score is ~ 650-660. I would concentrate on your weak areas, and rather than do more questions, focus on understanding the material there by supplemental readings, and then attack more problems. Good luck to you!

If you want a true indicator of where you are do GMAT Prep from mba.com and nothing else. Kaplan undersetimates your score. Manhattan is sometimes above, sometimes below. The only true barometer is GMAT Prep 1 and GMAT Prep 2. If you are scoring 720 then chances are you will get >700. If not, then you might want to reschedule IF you have the time and the $.

thanks mp2437. i did a quick check on the kaplan scores online and found a couple of test takers post their views. And surprisingly all of them had scored atleast 70 points more on the real gmat. Although am not tensed about the Quants, Verbal is what affects my score. Havent scaled more than a 36 til now. Anyways since i practically have 6 days left, how many tests do you think i should take now?

Thanks for replyin Zuleron. I actually started with the GMAT Prep about 35 days back just to see a 550 flash on the screen. Since then I have slogget my b*tt out and taken all the tests i have mentioned. I tried takin the GMAT Prep Test1, but it gave me the same questions that it did before. I will definitely take the 2nd test and update you on the scores...

Since you are more concerned with verbal at this point, I would go out and borrow (or buy) a copy of official verbal guide and do all the problems. Also, this forum has tons of useful questions with varying difficulty which you can go through, that should be sufficient. About 2-3 days before exam, do 1-2 more practice exams and really understand why you got questions incorrect.
