Total cost = cost of material + labor

Question is profit > 150,000 which can be re-phrased
as is Total cost < 350,000?

Statement # 1:
Total cost = (3*cost of material)
Let cost of material = m

3*m = m + labor

cost of material = m, labor cost = 2m

However, this does not tell us what is the value of 'm'. Hence Statement # 1 is NOT SUFFICIENT.

Statement # 2:

Profit > 2m

Statement # 2 is NOT SUFFICIENT.

Combining # 1 and #2:

=> >2m = 500,000 - 3m
=> >5m = 500,000
=> m < 100,000
