Hi All,

Following is OG-12, Q#122.

What is the volume of a certain rectangular solid ?

1) Two adjacent faces of the solid have areas 15 and 24 respectively.
2) Each of the two opposite faces of the solid has area 40.
OA = C. Can someone please why not B alone. Doesn't B mean that all the faces of solid have area = 40 ? i.e. it is a cube ?
No you cant assume that the three all the sides have same dimensions just on the basis of area of a side as the area is multiple of two sides. i.e. for the area 40 sides can have dimensions (1,40), (2,20), (4,10) and (5,8)

Thanks Kyabe...

But actually the confusion stems from the language of option B....

doesn't Each in B means all the six faces ?
