Hello,

I just took my second GMAT test in this year and this time scored a 550 (my first was a terribly low 320) after some intense studying (at least 6 hours a day, every single day!!) Although my score went up by 230 but still cannot get me up to a decent 680. I have been studying with the Veritas materials for more than a month for both sections, then did the problems on the Official Guide and a few practice tests, including several times on the GMATPrep test. I'm shooting for a 700+ on my third try in a month as I'm applying for grad school for Fall 2010, so time is pressing on the application deadlines. Are there any methods that you could please share with me so I can score a 700+??

Also does anybody know if I want to shoot for the first round of deadline for a couple of schools say in early October but I haven't taken my third GMAT yet, do you know if I can still hand in the rest of my application by the deadline in October and send in the GMAT later?

Thank you!! :D

That is a remarkable improvement Chrissy. Congratulations!

You haven't mentioned what your quant/verbal break up was like on your second attempt. Your strategy for your third attempt should depend on this split, which will indicate where you need to put in more effort.

Different schools have different application requirements. It is best to get in touch with the schools you are looking to apply to and confirm with them whether you need to submit your GMAT scores with the application or you can send it later.

Good Luck.

I got a 36 on Quantitative (45%) and 28 on Verbal (47%). What do you think I should focus on studying for this month in order to get over 700?

Thank you very much!!
