Issue Essay- A flat organization structur

The organizational structure of both public and private sector is hierarchial based on a grading system in accordance with the skill set of
an individual. The power and authority vested across the hierarchy plays a significant role in the annual financial outcome of the organization.
However, top-down hierarchies may feck the creative potential of the organization if the hierachy is non-collegiatal.

The subtleties in the salaries and grading of a top-down hierarchy is an encouraging one for its own reasons. It inculcates an ardent among employees
to achieve higher skill-sets hence creating a conducive atmosphere . This can be bested cited by analyzing the trends of promotion in IT Sector
companies . IBM for instance defines a crieteria for all Senior Technical Leads to achieve Project Management Process (PMP) certification in order
to pursue a role of Project Manager. The crave for acquiring higher authority, salary propels an individual to enhance his skills and knowledge.

Hierarchy plays a significant role as it makes individuals accountable of their work. Every unit of the organization has its set targets and goals to
achieve. This discorages the buckness of the failiures and act as impetus towards reconcilliation of the damages. The recent accident at one of the
DMRC's site when one of the six cranes lifting the beam glitched causing six casualities demanded an accountable answer for it. It was the apex
authority of DMRC Mr E. Sreedharan who took the responsibilty, held himself accountable for the mishap forwarded his resignation to the Chief
Minister.

A group may have a perversive element who in order to assert his views may relegate group's aim. It becomes essential for the leader of the group
to protect the group from detracting from its aim. The war on Iraq by US was an example of US's cussedness against nuclear disarmament when
the concentration should have been on the war on terror.

The top-down hierarchies may not neccesiate conduciveness .The vesting of power and authority should be proportionate across hierarchy as it gives an individual freedom to plan and executive his plans. This automatically paves way for coorporation and coordination among employees. The scenario of Delhi Metro project best supports this permise. The exteme authority and power vested on DMRC chief Mr. E. Sreedharan enabled him to create history in India
Railways by meeting all the deadlines on time . The way he coordinated among the various stakeholders both private and public is a thought to boggle one's mind.

The subtleties in salaries and grade in an hierarchial organization streamlines the workflow making every individual accountable for his work .But disproportinate vestment of power and authority may thwart the creative potential of the group.

what was the original question this was responding to?

some quick thoughts:

you wrote a lot. it's good, just don't stress yourself out and run out of time. also, there were a couple of typos in the essay, which might affect your score.

the AWA isn't grading your writing style, nor how much you write. they're basically looking for you to stick to the very basic template:

1. intro
2. paragraph 1
3. paragraph 2
4. (optional) paragraph 3.
5. conclusion (just re-state intro)

just keep it as basic as possible, and as grammatically correct as possible, and you should have no trouble getting a 6. both my essays were very simple, high school level essays (and both were only 4 paragraphs long), yet both got 6.0's.
my GMAT debrief: https://www.beatthegmat.com/came-through ... 44327.html

You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right, but it will not come near you.
