Answer Distribution in Data Suff. on real GMAT

Hi
On GMAT Prep II i got 49% DS questions and 51% PS. Is this normal nowadays on the real test?

Also the distribution of answers in DS was the following:
a.11%
b.6%
c.33%
d.11%
e.39%
Is this a little skewed towards e's and c's? Can we expect having so little b's?
I ask because as i did the DS problems during GMAT Prep it made me unsecure to be getting so many e's and almost any b's at all?

Maybe you can explain to me something that i am unaware of. what is the importance of knowing the percentage of each choice chosen of 41 questions ?

I understand from ngufo's post (see the I just Beat the GMAT section - it's a sticky one) that she thinks D's are the most likely of all. I can't say for sure what the probabilities are... I suppose you're looking into that in the event that you might not have enough time to finish and need to guess...

Hi Larry,
Although it is very thoughtful of you to analyze the distribution of answer choices for DS questions I feel it is hard to predict the distributions of DS answer choices in the real GMAT and it would not be proper to do so. Since the questions faced by people are different from one another the distribution might be skewed and there is not enough data nor there will be to predict with certanity so as to be useful to someone.We must also be careful as to not mislead anyone who ends up reading this post.

In a nutshell my humble suggestion would be for you to focus on the questions and content versus the distribution of the answer choices. Please don't take this the wrong way.
