- Thanked: 1 times
I gave GMAT today and got 700. I have been accessing most sections of this website and I wanted to thank everyone who has ever contributed to beat the gmat. Websites such as BTG certainly help out a lot of people like me and I appreciate all the effort put in by the administrators and people who make this forum extremely informative.
Test Experience:
I got to the center on time. The duration of both breaks is 8 mins. Even though I hurried up between breaks, I was late by a min before verbal because the computer at the check-in point stopped working.
Now on to the most interesting part...
Math has certainly gotten different from anything I have seen for a while. The questions are quite different from the ones seen in Manhattan. In Manhattan questions, the major impediment for me was time. Today, the major impediment I faced was both difficulty and time. The questions were truly amazing in the sense that they were hard like GMATPREP but took time to solve like Manhattan questions do.
Verbal was somewhat similar to GMATPREP in the sense that the concepts tested were not quite what Manhattan will test. Again, it may be that the questions I got today were slightly different to the ones I saw in Manhattan tests (the same case happened with me in the math section) therefore I think that GMATPREP questions are similar to the ones in real GMAT.
Material used:
OG 10,11,12 (mostly 11 and 12 but did SC from 10 as well.)
Manhattan(all guides for Math and Verbal)
Certain SC notes from the web (Spidey's notes, Rajat NDA's notes, Sahil's notes)
Test Scores:
GMATPREP 1 : 700
GMATPREP 2 : 770
MGMAT 1 : 660
MGMAT 2 : 680
MGMAT 3 : 680
MGMAT 4 : 700
MGMAT 5 : 690
MGMAT 6 : 730
