Compare n Contra:Knowledge from Books or Experience?

Expert replies

There are mainly two sources of information from which we can gain knowledge. The first one is gaining knowledge from books and second one is gaining knowledge from book. There is saying that every coin has two sides, positive and negative and we can proove
either side by providing lots of examples and quotes.Same thing applies here too. Gaining knowledge from books and experience both has their own advantages and disadvantages.

As we all know that books are out best friends. They are vital source of information for us since our childhood. They teach us many things including maths, science, language, physics and lots of other subjects. This prevent us from taking wrong steps and help us to create strong future. I think we can learn much more things during our childhood and adolescene only from books. We do not have much time and resource to experience each and everythings. Moreover sometimes it requires copious times to apply this knowledge in practical life.

On the otherside, experience plays crucial roles in one's life. Though they have some disadvantages but its advantages outweigh the advantages of books. There are many things that we can not learn without experience. Lets take an example of any sports. Though we can get all the basic details and rules of sports by reading the book but untill and unless we experience it we can not learn it.Sometimes it takes time to experience the things and we might not get positive results but once we experienced it , we can never forgot. This knowledge will help us to shape our future in much better and in strong way.

So, though both the channels has their pros and conts but I would rate knowledge gained from experience one step ahead than the knowledge gained from books.
