the only one I like is E.
ABC all describe Hudson as the organization, which is not right.
D is missing the complete predicate (to be)
E's "it" cannot modify Hudson, so "it" has to be traced to the communist party, making the logic complete

Although I think that the sentence is incorrect due to the modifier. Is this question from a reputed text book or test prep company.
