Hi Stacy
I am software engineer with 3+ yrs of experience in IT with a MNC based in India.
I have made a good career progress, with increased responsibilities over the period of time. (I have appreciation letters from my US clients and my employer).
But now I feel the growth is unidirectional. I want to broaden my horizon, gain a broader perspective of business and contribute in a wider spectrum. I want to change my current skill set to role into Finance or International Business. (I am sorry, I have not decided on this one)
For this I am considering MBA as an option from USA.
But thats where I am stuck up with
. I need guidance for my career change. I would like to know how favorable and responsive would MBA schools would be for considering my profile for their institutions.
What kind of institutions I can target for the class starting in 2010?
Do the industry give chance to the people making a career transitions?
I am yet to take a date for GMAT. My academics are above average with distinction in Matriculation and Sr. Secondary and first class in BE.
I am a active member of red cross society. I am part of a foundation involved in aids awareness in rural India.
