This is actually the first time a member has requested this search feature. Right now there isn't a way to search by view count.

May I probe a little more and ask how you would use such a search feature? How is filtering by view count valuable to you?

Thanks!

The most important reason I can think of is that some posts/topics (which might not get marked sticky by the mods) contain very good explanation of some questions or obscure facts which are frequently gotten wrong by many people.
(Think of the people who google for a particular problem and get directed to the relevant post in this awesome forum, thereby increasing the topic's view count. Similar situation occurs when people bookmark their favorite posts)

Another scenario I can think of is when a post (of once hot topics which fade away with time) contains inputs from many people where they try to build a compilation of some concepts/formulae.

Eric I hope you get the idea behind my request of this feature.

(I prefer the approach of visiting the 'more popular topics' while trying to get the most out of a forum)

Thanks very much for that follow up response. I can see how this can be really valuable. We'll investigate a solution, and in the mean time, I think you might be able to use the 'Advanced Search' to search for keywords and see which topics are most popular.

Really appreciate this feedback! :)
