Took the GMAT today and only got a 690 :(.

I had been preparing on and off for many months now. I started putting in some serious hours only during the last 5 weeks (About 2-3 hours everyday). In the mock tests on GMATPrep I was scoring around 700, so a little disappointed with the score.

I used the OG11 primarily for my preparation. Study method was too haphazard to mention here... so I do know the reason for my disappointing score :).

I am looking at the UCLA FEMBA program. Does anybody think I have a chance with the fulltime program at UCLA ?

I should really thank the people on this forum for the score I got. You guys have been awesome with a lot of help with my preparation.

you still did pretty well man. I've been preparing for a long long time now too, i was getting 640-670 in the preps (MGMAT, KAPLAN, GMAT Prep), and I only got 550 (shameful) in the real one. Don't know how, why. No explanation.

Anyhow, I'm going into slave labor again for 2 months and re-assess.

Just a couple of questions, maybe 2 in Quant and 3 in Verbal separate the 550 from the 650 and the 650 from 700.

Don't be so hard on yourself. 550 is not shameful. It just simply is below the bar you set for yourself.
