Hello,

I graduated undergrad from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business with a GPA of 3.8/4.0

I have 3.5 years of consulting experience and have worked with over 15 clients.

I took the GMAT last year and got a 600. I took the GMAT 1 hour ago and got a 640, a 40 point improvement. Also, I don't know if they care, but my ACT Math was 99%.

I understand that this is not a great score, but it is also not a terrible score. I am only interested in attending: Kellogg, Ross, Booth, Harvard, or Stanford.

Will they even consider my application with a score of 640? I understand I have an uphill battle, but I want to make sure I am not entirely out of the race.

Your GMAT is not out of the range of consideration however it is below the median of most of the schools on your list. That said, you should focus on making the rest of your application very strong. The GMAT is only one component of the application package. Essays, LORs, and interviews weigh heavily in the admissions decision and you should allot a significant amount of time and prep to ensure that each area is as strong as possible.
