Hmmmmmm....kinda down right now, was aiming for atleast 710 and scored a 680.
680(Q45, 73%| V38, 83%| Overall 86%| AWA:6.0)
I have an engineering background so my quant is really disappointing. thought I had this covered atleast to get me a 80%....
During the exam felt a little tired by the time I got to verbal which still doesnt explain my quant score. After the quant section, thought I had done decently well, the verbal on the other hand felt iffy as there were many questions where it boiled down to two choices.
for my prep I didnt do too many adaptive tests,
GMAT Prep 1 - 710
Gmat prep 2 - 710
Powerprep - 660
My last test I really bombed the verbal, usually my score used to be 40+. So although this kinda scared me I attributed this to a really bad day.
Realized I had trouble in RC and DS, after following a suggesting that summarizing the passage is a good idea, was doing much better. Thought I had gotten much better in quant but doesnt look that way from the score.
Studied princeton and kaplan and manhattan SC, and OG 11.
I am going to write it again in a month. Please send feedback on how to push this score beyond 710.
My strategy right now is to go over quant basics again, and work on all the uncomfortable questions and not waste time on things I am good at. Will be doing a lot more DS.
Verbal, want to get some grammer basics straight and also want to do some of the CR bible stuff.
Any pointers here are welcome......hmmmmm I thought that I was going to be done this week and was looking to move onto the bschool essays.
