GMAT Score:700
Hey Guys,

I have been a passive contributor to this forum, thus far, but not anymore.I gave my GMAT on August 15th , wanting to get freedom from the ordeal and got a 660.I am planning to take it again.

Below are my scores in practice tests -

MGMAT 1 - 670
MGMAT 2 - 660
MGMAT 3 - 650
MGMAT 4 - 650
MGMAT 5 - 670
MGMAT 6 - 670
Kaplan Mock 1 - 640 (I hate this test. I got only 5 questions incorrect in quant and 6 questions incorrect in verbal and still it gave me a score of 640)
GMAT Prep 1 - 710 (Q:48 V:39)
GMAT Prep 2 - 740 (Q:50 V:40)
Actual GMAT - 660 (Q:48 V 33) - Now I consider this as my practice test No 10 :D

A brief about the actual GMAT experience -

Problem Solving - Most of the questions were similar to those in OG.I strongly recommend 200 odd questions in OG and 100 odd in quant review. These alone should be sufficinet to ace the PS section

Data Sufficiency - A bit tougher that what it is in OG/Quant Review, but manageable.

Sentence Correction - The questions that i got were more or less similar to those that i practiced from 1000SC (I just did 300 questions though)

Critical Reasoning - Ditto as it is in OG.

Reading Comprehension - Tougher than what it is in OG.i got 4 passages, one of which was a DRACULA.I read the passage twice, still was not able to comprehend.Out of the other 3, 2 were small and 1 was medium - Difficulty level.

As Alexander 'The Great' once said - 'Greatness of a person not lies in his ability to rise, but rising everytime when he falls'.

Of course we don't want to keep falling everytime, but we can certainly not lose hope.

Looking forward to meet the Monster again.Let's see what it holds for me this time.

Thanks Cramya.

Hey btw, do you have any suggestions regarding the practice tests.I ve already completed my 6 MGMAT's and I dont feel like Kaplan gives a real feel of a GMAT like experience.

So right now am clueless as to where my next 5 practice tests are going to come from :-)

any suggestions?

Guys,
Recieved my official score card today.Got an AWA of 5(56%).Shell shocked by looking at the percentile.

My two cents -
Make sure that u guys get a score of 6 or at least 5.5 to have a balanced split across Quant, Verbal and AWA.

Anything above 4 for the AWA is fine.

How would you relate the MGMAT tests to the real exam? The math was harder and the verbal was easier?

well..MGMAT quant feels tougher coz...it's much more calculation intensive than the actual GMAT quant....
as for as verbal goes...actual GMAT is a wee bit tougher....eespecially RC.
