I feel a bit directionless. I have been planning to study for 3 months but only have been focus studying in the last 1.5months. 90% of that 1.5month have been dedicated to verbals. Yet..

Some of my recent scores on mgmat are: roughly 1 week intervals
42/18
47/25
43/27
47/23
gmat prep 43/28

I feel like my verbal score is stagnant even after reviewing the mgmat SC and after doing about half of all the CR SC question in OG11 and OG11 verbal review. Generally the error break down is SC 6-8 wrong, CR 5-6 wrong, RC 3 wrong. Also i'm always guessing the last 4-5 questions b/c of time issue.

As far fetching as it may sound my goal is to score 700+ and i feel like time is running out. I want to apply by this year.

Any advice on what i should do? Thanks so much!

your goal is not far fetched at all. I scored a 570 on my frist GMAT and ended with a 700, so you can definitely do it. You'll just need to really focus on your weaknessess as well as timing. When you take your practice exams, make sure you take the entire exam (including the essay portion). I realized that the exam is not only about getting the questions right, but doing it within the alloted timeframe.

Also, I would suggest reviewing your mistakes and making flashcards. I was terrible at SC too, but each night I would practice my flashcards before I went to bed and that seemed to help.

Best!
