What should I study now?

by Diep » Tue Aug 04, 2009 11:00 am
Hi,
I just got back from my exam. I am satisfied with Quan so far and want to focus on Verbal in a month. I got 35 and want to get around 5 more points. One of my problems during the exam was that I freaked out when realizing that I was a bit slow with 20 questions left in 32 min, then I speeded up then lost concentration and had no ideas with all the CR left. I guessed the last 5 questions :(

Here are the materials that I went over so far
- OG 12& 11
- Verbal review
- Manhattan SC+ RC + CR ( found that only SC one is helpful)
- CR bible ( IMO, it is a bit wordy)
- Kaplan Premier, Advanced (did not like these because they frequently have explanations like " reading the question, we can EASILY get rid of option A and C" ---> I actually did not totally understand why)
- Princeton - Cracking the GMAT (it's ok but not my favorite book)

I plan to practice new material for most of the month but have no idea what else I can read. I have heard a lot about 1000 SC, CR, RC (?), does anyone know the exact name of those or where I can get them?
Any suggestion is appreciated.
Thanks
