Today I appeared for GMAT and scored decently compared to time I spent on prparation. I registered in mid June, however, was not serious until Mid of Jul when I scored only 630 on GMAC...[To be frank, even after that I didnt put lot of efforts for preparation (as my verbal score indicates especially when my quant was strong)]....Since I have quite good experience in my favor, I never tried for 720+.....

Little background about myself....Indian engineer ...(hence quant not a problem)..left school long time back.....very less time available for preparation as I am married and have a sweet kid who needs lot of attention ...Moreover I am working in Japan, which requires hectic work schedule...

HOWEVER, guys I always believed that this Exam needs just PRACTICE...and mostly from OG and other GMAC products...
My sincere advice to those who are left with little time is that first go through OG 11/12 and try to THINK about each question...rather than jumping on lot of study sources (MGMAT/Kaplan/whatever). I have seen some Kaplan stuff which I think is rubbish...
Every question on actaul GMAT is a similar version of whats provided in these books..
I think PRACTICE is not how many books one has done, rather how many times you have thought about a particular topic in your mind...
For example, for each quant question, twist the same problem and make out different questions....The same applies with verbal....
I just followed this and was able to score decently (or what I wanted)

Books I recommend..

1. OG 12/11/10/9....or any other GMAC sources...
2. MGMAT SC...
3. This website, as IT provides all the difficult questions at one place.. (Although I couldnt visit it frequently)...

For those guys, who are not from math background may surely need additional sources....

I understand my score is not very great, but wanted to share what I think....
