Query

by goelmohit2002 » Mon Aug 03, 2009 6:13 am
Hi All,

I had recently taken the date (approx. 2 weeks back).....but have not received any intimation from GMAC via letter or any sort of other communication......

Can someone please tell....is there any comunication etc. that GMAC sends or we can straightaway go to the test centre with our passport on the test day ?

Thanks
Mohit

Just go to test center with Goverment issued ID. I actually called GMAC to confirm because I wanted to be 100% I had the date and time right.

Thanks.

Does it mean that I should not expect any "written" communication from GMAC. Only way to confirm is by calling them.....is it ?

You should have received a fairly exhaustive e-mail at the time of registration.

You should also be able to log into your account at MBA.com

Yes...I received the same.....

Does it mean that the email is enough and if we take the printout....then GMAC test centre will not ask for any other identity(except passport) ?

That is right. I don't even think you will be asked for the printout because your name will be on their appointment book, but it is a good idea just in case.

Make sure your ID exactly matches the name you have given them. In my case, I brought my passport because my drivers license includes my middle initial which I didn't sign up with.

You will be asked to put everything except your locker key and ID into a locker. your pockets must be completely empty and nothing is allowed around your wrists.

Good luck!
