Hi All,

I am really disturbed today. After putting hard work for 3-4 months, GMAT sucked me out. I was expecting 700+ but ended up at 640(Q44V36). I have 5+ yrs of experience in Software industry with lot of personal achievement in social work(associated with NGO working for AIDS), 2 international paper publication under my belt.

I dont think i will get good college in US. I want to give it another shot. I want to appear in September. i have following books. Any suggestion what should be my strategy to increase my score to 700+.

Manhattan (all 7 books)
OG-10
OG-11 (verbal)
Kaplan

I have read almost all post on beatthegmat. I believe in goof up in Critical reasoning and one of the RC. Sentence correction was fine with me.

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated..

Really disturbed. What should i do?

Also one more question when is the adcom first round start for US Colleges.

Thanks
Sharry :(

You shouldn't get diheartened. You have planty of time to take again.

Were you getting 700+ score in practice tests?

I think the sources you have mentioned should be fine, OGs dont focus a lot on 700+ questions so would need to look at other sources. I have heard good things about Kaplan800 and GMATclub's papers.

Admission for early round I think is in August / September. Regular is in Jan
