Hey all,

So I've been practicing various GMAT materials since late May - test coming up August 6th. I have been traditionally weaker in Quant, but recently things have changed due to my excessive focus on Quant practice.

Currently taken 4 CATS:

6/28 Princeton Review CAT 1: V30 Q33 530
7/6 Princeton Review CAT 2: V40 Q35 610
7/21 Manhattan Rev CatPrep CAT1: V35 Q37 600
7/24 Princeton Review CAT 3: V33 Q36 570

So it seems, that my quant practive has paid off, but verbal seems to be suffering. I still have 1 more PR CAT, 2 more Manhattan Review CATs, and 2 more GMATPrep CATs to take.

At this point, with some 9 days till my test, would you guys recommend focusing on CATs, and just take as many as I can (with big focus on the official GMATprep ones) - while practicing much more verbal than quant in my spare time?

Target score is about 630 - 650, but 620 would be fine.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm no expert. You should read Stacey Koprince's write ups for a month to go. I saved it and its attached. I think its extremely helpful, detailed and clear. It's in context of her post.

In summary - its examining your strengths and weaknesses and knowing which problems to throw away during the test and speaks about some dos and don'ts

Given your practice tests, you are right in the ball park of where you want to be and remember - everyone on the the test date is tabula rasa so it boils down to what type of questions come your way. With a bit of luck and your preparation - you should have no issue. =)
