Here is my GMAT story
Practiced three CATs, 640 GMAT prep 1, Veritas 1- 650, GMAT prep 2 - 690. I was scoring consistentely about 44-49 in Quant and 31-36 in Verbal in my practice tests. I also completed the OG12.
I took my gmat last Monday and ended up with a 570 ( 27- 42% V and 42-67% Q). I messed during my first break - came in late, little over two minutes, took long time to scan and the break is only 8 minutes now, so that didn't help much. I tried real hard to catch up and probably ended up making mistakes in Quant. However, I was on time to start the verbal section, and was feeling good till about half way on verbal but then suddenly lost focus and specially the RCs. During my practices, I was getting at least half of the SCs wrong, but RC and CR( may be a question or two wrong in these two sections) have always been favorable to me.
I want to retake the GMAT again in August ( 25th or 26th ), can you advice me on game plan for the coming month.
I just got my AWA scores today, I got a 5.5.
Should I have practiced more tests for stamina, taking into consideration my Verbal scores. I know I messed up in the Quant by the delays, but I am fairly confident to get into the 49-50 range here, unless I forget my math in this month.
I am looking for a 680-700 range score.
Any advice ?
